AI Implementation & Local Model Deployment // ICT Smarthome

The AI and Smart Home internship enables participants to deploy local AI models, develop effective prompts, create and integrate AI-assisted web applications, configure wired and wireless networks, and install smart home devices, sensors, and automation systems while applying data security principles and safe working practices.

Duration: 2 Weeks

Projekt Korrekt e.V. – host organisation for Erasmus KA1 projects

As a host organisation, Projekt Korrekt e.V. welcomes participants from all European countries. In the last 25 years we have gained experience from more than 1500 projects in different professional fields.

We develop model projects in the framework of Erasmus and ESF, also in cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises in the region of Leipzig and Halle.

We support the mobility of participants in the European Community and the communication between people from all over Europe.

Our project proposal for your stay in Germany:

Title:                 AI Implementation & Local Model Deployment // ICT Smarthome

Duration:          2 weeks

Learning outcomes common to all professions:

  • Health and safety at work – complies with health and safety regulations
  • Vocational foreign language – improved ability to use a foreign language (English/German) to perform tasks and to formulate short and understandable statements to communicate in the workplace.

  • Data Privacy & Security: What to consider regarding data security and privacy when choosing between cloud-based and local AI solutions.
  • Prompt Engineering: Which methods are used to design and develop effective prompts to optimize AI output for software and text generation.
  • AI-Assisted Development: How to use AI tools to model, simulate, and optimize code for web presenta-tions (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
  • Software Integration: How to integrate AI-generated components or local LLM APIs into existing IT application systems.

Placement: Projekt Korrekt e.V., Electrics workshop and informatics lab in Schkeuditz

All the modules above and below are examples. It’s possible that we will have to modify or adapt them according to the skills of the participants or the capacities of the host company. The tasks and activities vary and depend on the practical and linguistic skills of the beneficiaries and on the needs and business volume of the companies.
