Code2App Lab : Smart devices Bootcamp
The Code2App Lab: Smart Devices Bootcamp enables participants to develop mobile applications for iOS or Android using Swift or Kotlin, design accessible user interfaces, manage local data, and connect apps to REST APIs. Participants implement authentication, camera and multimedia features, and notifications, collaborate using Git, and test, document, and present a complete app prototype ready for deployment.
Course Duration: 2 Weeks
Projekt Korrekt e.V. – host organisation for Erasmus KA1 projects
Projekt Korrekt e.V., as host organisation, receives participants from all European countries. Over the last 25 years we gained experiences from more than 1500 projects we realised in different fields of profession.
We develop model projects in the framework of Erasmus and ESF, also in cooperation with small and medium-seized enterprises in the region Leipzig and Halle.
We support the mobility of the participants in the European Community and the communication between people from all over Europe.
Our project proposal for your stay in Germany:

- Implement key mobile features such as authentication, multimedia access (camera, audio/video), notifications, and background processing.
- Collaborate on mobile projects using Git and GitHub, follow version control practices, and structure code in a modular and scalable way.
- Deliver a complete mobile application prototype, including all core functionalities, technical documentation, testing, and a final project presentation ready for deployment.
General tasks
The student develops their understanding of:
- Programming principles in Swift/Kotlin.
- Mobile UI components, layout systems and navigation concepts.
- Storing, retrieving and synchronising data (local and remote).
- Implementing device-specific functionalities (e.g. camera, multimedia, notifications).
- Software version control, technical documentation and team collaboration.
- The publishing process and standards for the Google Play and App Store platforms.
Placement:Electronics and IT lab at Gut Wehlitz / Projekt Korrekt e.V.
All of the modules mentioned above and below can be seen as examples. Due to the abilities of the participants or the capacities of the host company, it’s possible that we will have to modify or adapt them. The tasks and activities vary depending on the beneficiaries’ practical and linguistic skills, as well as the companies’ needs and business volume.
